Hotel Dakota in Nottingham

so here's a thing. You pay designers to produce a snazzy website with javascript loading images, flash files and lovely photographs... all so you can give your potential visitors a great experience that reflects your values, etc. However, when it comes to grubby commerce.. any old crap seems to do. The pegasus booking page has not changed since Moses and is, quite frankly a big disgrace. You see this in loads of different hotels, lovely websites and horrible booking pages as though online booking did not count for much! Duh!

Hotel Vitale in San Francisco Website

This hotel, soon to go national targets the “Bo-Bo” market. ( Bo-Bo is short for “the bourgeois, bohemian market.” according to their CEO.) They want boutique but not too much edge and the hotel needs to revitalise them with yoga, spa, yoghurt (etcetera)
So these guys will probably compete with "W" head on unless they can refine their position even better. I think they need to be more radical in pushing the "vitale" element and put some clear water between their offer and the emerging big chain boutiques (contradiction??)
